At Rochester Catholic Schools our Business Office team is called to serve as fiscally responsible stewards of the financial resources with which we have been blessed. In partnership with our RCS Finance Committee, RCS Board of Trustees, and our annual auditors, the RCS Business Office utilizes the professional accounting industry’s Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to establish a standard framework for ethical business practices and the recording and reporting of financial information.
In addition, numerous systems of checks and balances are employed so as to ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of our RCS financial assets while protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our families’ personal financial information. At RCS the trust of our stakeholders is paramount and we take great pride in delivering high quality business related services coupled with transparent processes and reporting. In addition to the day-to-day operational activities such as accounts payable/receivable, tuition and enrollment management, producing statements of financial activity, and human resource, payroll and benefits processing, the RCS Business Office is also responsible for other, more strategic tasks. These areas include annual budget development, the execution of the tuition assistance program, asset and investment management, and research and development for long-range financial planning.
We are here to serve the needs of our schools and our families. Should you have any questions, concerns or comments, please do not hesitate to contact our Business Office.
