Once again, our teachers and staff have gone above and beyond to provide our students with a school year filled with challenging curriculum and innovative, hands-on learning opportunities that embrace a faith-based education.

This fund advances the RCS Strategic Plan goals to retain and recruit the best and brightest teachers and staff. Your gift to this fund enhances teacher compensation, including salaries and medical benefits. Our goal is to compensate our educators at 85% of Rochester Public Schools salaries.

We aren't starting from scratch, however. Through the bequest of Dr. Paul Morgan to Lourdes High School, the fund balance is now over $500,000! Dr. Morgan's legacy will live on through this generous investment in our educators.
This past fall, we convened a Compensation Task Force to explore what it would take to reach our goal to compensate our educators at 85% of Rochester Public Schools salaries. Through the work of this group, we're reworking our salary scale to be more sustainable and learned we need to grow our salary budget by $2.2 million over the next five years.
