THE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM IS NOW FULL. Registration for PRESCHOOL age children has been CLOSED.

  • Register your child(ren) for the School Age Program at Lourdes High School.
  • Completion of the registration form along with payment of a $75 dollar deposit (to be applied toward your first week of care) will secure your child's spot in the summer care program.
  • You may choose 3 Day or Full Week Care or a Combination of both throughout the summer: 3 day = $120/week and Full Week = $165/week
  • If choosing 3 Day Care, the days may vary from week to week. You will have the chance to select specific days in STEP 2: Schedules and Deadlines

REGISTRATION FORM

STEP 2: Schedules and Deadlines

Participation Periods and Deadlines for Submission

If you know your scheduling needs for the entire summer, you will have the option to submit all 10 weeks at one time. Otherwise, schedules may be submitted per participation period. Deadlines for schedules and/or changes per participation period are as follows:

Participation Period Schedule Due Date
Weeks 1 & 2

Monday, May 28
Weeks 3 & 4

Please note you will be charged the 3-day rate ($120) for 3 days or less and the 5-day rate ($165) for 4 or more days.

TO SUMBIT YOUR SCHEDULE:

You MUST INDICATE one of the following FOR EACH WEEK:

  • Full Week
  • 3 Days (select days)
  • NO NEED

*If you are not in need of care for any week, it is required that you still submit a schedule. Simply select NO NEED for that week. Not submitting a schedule does not imply NO NEED. You will be billed at the weekly rate of your registration selection (full, partial, or combined) if we do not receive an indication of NO NEED.

Participation periods:

Once a participation period due date has passed, schedules will no longer be accessible online. You must contact your program coordinator directly and space will be subject to availability.

How do I make a change to my schedule?

  • If you have already submitted your schedule and are in need of making a change PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE, you may do so by using the SCHEDULE CHANGE FORM below.
  • If you have chosen the 3 day option and need to change the selected days AFTER THE DUE DATE, please contact your program teacher or coordinator directly.
  • There will be NO REFUND or credit for cancellations made AFTER THE DUE DATE per Participation Period.

SCHEDULE CHANGE FORM

What happens if I miss a due date for submitting a schedule?

In order to best plan for staffing, meals, field trips (school-age program), materials/projects, and billing, your schedules are very important.

If you discover that a deadline has passed and you ARE in need of care, please contact your Program Coordinator to confirm your scheduling days (see billing below). Due to licensing, the preschool program is subject to availability.

In the event we do not receive a schedule, we would rather plan for your child than not be able to provide care should you be in need.

To that end, you will be responsible for payment according to your needs indicated at the time of registration if we do not receive a schedule by the participation period due date. Even if you are not in need of care for any week or participation period, you are still required to submit a schedule indicating NO NEED for those weeks. If the due date has passed with no schedule submitted, you will be billed as such:

  • If you indicated "full week" care, you will be billed for 2 full weeks or $330.
  • If you indicated "partial week" care, you will be billed for 2 partial weeks or $240.
  • If you indicated a "combination," you will be billed for 1 full and 1 partial week or $285.

Just as there are no refunds for schedule changes after the due date, there will be no refunds for the billing applied to participation period for which a schedule was not submitted.

Thank you for helping us to maintain preparedness and responsibility. We very much appreciate your cooperation!

Dear friend, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.

Based on the Third Letter from John

The RCS Summer Care Program is excited to partner with Taher (a contract food service management company) to provide nutritious snacks and meals throughout the summer.

Taher's approach to nutrition:

"Our approach is chef-based, which means everything we do revolves around our chefs’ passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients, meals cooked from scratch, and globally inspired recipes." Additionally, Taher's licensed dietitians "stay current on advancements in nutritional knowledge" and work to incorporate initiative (such as increasing whole grains and completely phasing out all trans fats) into their menus.

Taher's emphasis on health pairs well with the RCS Guiding Principle to "grow together in mind, body, and spirit." In order to nourish the mind and spirit, the body must be nourished as well!

True to our core values of service, integrity, respect, and community, students will:

  1. Help prepare the space for mealtime
  2. Offer prayer of thanks and praise before "breaking bread" together
  3. Offer prayer of thanks after the enjoyment of "good food and good company"
  4. Contribute to clean-up after mealtime
