Five Schools. One Mission.

While 2020-2021 was a year that kept many at a distance, our five campuses celebrated 30 years together as the Rochester Catholic Schools system and remained united under one mission. Highlighted below are new opportunities that students, families, faculty, and staff created to live out the RCS tenets of excellence, character, and community.

Partnering in Excellence

Lourdes High School launched an exciting new partnership with Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota’s Program for Advanced College Credit (PACC), providing rigorous college-level coursework while allowing students to continue to be with their peers and teachers on the Lourdes campus. Students began taking PACC courses in the Fall of 2021!

Putting Faith First

Finding new ways to embrace our faith amidst Covid restrictions, the Co- Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Middle School was blessed to livestream Mass to students through a collaboration with Pax Christi Church.

Keeping It Safe and Fun

St. Pius X School parents proudly watched as students participated in a Halloween parade combined with an orderly school evacuation drill, keeping a fun annual tradition going during unprecedented times.

Celebrating Our Community

The St. Francis of Assisi School community cheered on kindergarten student Nathan Herber in celebration of his last cancer treatment. Students, faculty, and staff supported Nathan and his family while he was learning from home and throughout his journey.

Practicing Servant Leadership

As part of the school’s House System in which older grades mentor younger grades, Holy Spirit Catholic School students found ways to team up for service projects such as making pillowcase covers for Ronald McDonald House guests.
