RCS Enters Year Two of Nature-Based Preschool Program
The Nest Nature Birds Environmental Kinship program is a pre-kindergarten classroom located at Holy Spirit Catholic School. Our indoor and outdoor classroom spaces are designed to enhance your child’s experience while using the beauty of the natural world to teach kindergarten-readiness skills. Active outside learning, investigating the environment around us, and understanding our role in taking care of God's precious gifts in nature are part of our core curriculum. Lessons are taught hands on using STREAM activities (Science, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Math), topic studies, and purposeful play. Students spend ample time outdoors each day, engaging in lessons and exploration around Holy Spirit's large campus. Our beautiful outdoor spaces include shady tree covered play yards, nature trails through the woods, an outdoor classroom, a variety of gardens, and much more!
