Weather Cancellations & Delays

In the event of weather cancellations and delays at school, Rochester Catholic Schools will communicate through parent emails, text message alerts, and television announcements through KTTC. This message applies to all preschools within the RCS system.

IF SCHOOL IS CLOSED
All classes with The Nest are CANCELLED. School is closed.  

IF 2 HOUR DELAY OR LATE START
Extended Day morning is CANCELLED. The Nest Half-Day morning classes are CANCELLED. The Nest School Day and Extended Day classes begin two hours later at 10:15 a.m. for children who regularly attend the School Day or Extended Day programs. 

IF EARLY AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
Half-Day afternoon, School Day and Extended Day classes with The Nest dismiss early. Extended Day is CANCELLED. RCS will communicate through parent emails, text message alerts, and television announcements regarding early dismissal times.
