As Catholic Christians, we are called to use our time, talent, and treasure to serve the needs of others. God designed us to make a difference with our lives and expects us to give something back. We were created to add to life on Earth and not just take from it. Service to others is a gift we continually call upon to help those in need.

Our stewardship activity includes:


Our school community serves by being stewards of the gifts we have been given:

  • caring for our classrooms and materials through recycling and respectful use
  • caring for one another through our words and actions


Our school community serves our parish community by:

  • volunteering as Altar Servers and Hospitality Ministers for Mass
  • participating in Youth Ministry service efforts
  • evangelizing the faith through active roles in Liturgy of the Word for Children services
  • serving at Mass and at funeral masses
  • preparing and serving a pancake breakfast to parish
  • volunteering at parish event (Fall Festival, Trivia Night)
  • collecting food for the food shelves (during school masses)
  • writing and designing thank you cards to show appreciation to the parish for their support of Catholic Education


Our school community serves our local community by:
  • collecting coats for the United Way Coat Drive to support underprivileged children in Rochester who do not have a coat to protect them from the harsh elements of the Minnesota environment. This school wide collection runs from September-October
  • collecting aluminum can rings to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, a local nonprofit agency serving children and families with significant medical needs.
  • partnering with with Christmas Anonymous to Adopt a Family, mindful that our savior Jesus had no home at His birth
  • sending Valentine cards to local nursing home residents and thank you cards to the Sisters of Assisi
  • holding an annual collection of peanut butter and jelly for the local Channel One Food Shelf (St. Pius X campus) to share the virtue of kindness with the hungry in our community
  • providing Thanksgiving meal baskets to families in the community so that others may enjoy the good gifts of God from the harvest
  • decorating mats for Dorothy Day Hospitality House to make mealtime more meaningful for the homeless


Our school community serves our world by:

  • participating in activities throughout the year to help support students at Colegio Anexo San Francisco de Asis in Bogota, Colombia, a school that is run by the Franciscan Sisters
  • System-wide food and dry goods collection campaign in support of the students and families of the Catholic St. Mary’s Mission School on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota
