St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X School is part of Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS), a unified Catholic school system that has been serving the Rochester, Minnesota community since 1877. St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X School is accredited by the Minnesota Nonpublic Schools Accrediting Association (MNSAA). Located in the southeast quadrant of the city, St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X School provides a superior educational experience for students in preschool through grade 8 while also serving an integral role in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church. St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X School began operating as one school at two separate campuses in the fall of 2006.

Two campuses! One spirit!
St. John the Evangelist campus is located in downtown Rochester, and serves students in grades 5-8. St Pius X campus is located in northwest Rochester and serves students in preschool-grade 4. St. John the Evangelist/Pius X School provides quality Catholic education for all children regardless of economic status, ethnic origin, or religious affiliation.

Our school strives to promote the Kingdom of God to our children, their families, and the community, witnessing to the mission of the Catholic faith.
