About

St. Francis of Assisi School is part of Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS), a unified Catholic school system that has been serving the Rochester, Minnesota community since 1877. St. Francis of Assisi School is accredited by the Minnesota Nonpublic Schools Accrediting Association (MNSAA). Located in the southeast quadrant of the city, St. Francis of Assisi School provides a superior educational experience for students in preschool through grade 8 while also serving an integral role in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church.

Our central purpose and goal at St. Francis of Assisi School is to provide quality Catholic education for all children regardless of economic status, ethnic origin, or religious affiliation, while also striving to promote the Kingdom of God to our students, their families, and the community. Our patron, St. Francis of Assisi, is a strong influence on our school climate and programming as we are especially focused on being peacemakers and good stewards of the many gifts we have been given.
