Get Ready to Believe and Read! Rochester Catholic Schools Announces Transformative Literacy Partnership with Best-In-Class Program

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration between RCS and best-in-class literacy initiative, Believe and Read, setting the stage for a game-changing journey towards academic excellence and a lifelong love for reading!

Believe and Read is a proven initiative that will bring the LETRS from Lexia methodology (based in the “science of reading” or structured literacy) to our elementary schools through outstanding professional development and teacher coaching.

All students who participate in the program will benefit — struggling readers become proficient, and good readers become great ones!

We warmly welcome you to join us in championing Believe and Read, and to spread the word with families you know!

Academics

We owe it to ourselves and to our Creator to develop the gifts and talents we have been given. The bar is set high—but not out of reach—for each of our students according to their individualized need, encouraging them to grasp their fullest academic potential.

Faith & Service

We know that faith without works is incomplete. In the spirit of that connection, we offer students a chance to develop their faith—through both study and application—with an education that is authentically and unapologetically Catholic.

Physical Activity & Athletics

We are called to take care of our bodies, and athletics are a great way to have fun doing it. Above all, developing core skillsets like teamwork, perseverance, and humility can translate effortlessly to all other aspects of our lives.

Fine Arts

We were designed to create. Not only does art fulfill a fundamental need for us to express ourselves and think about the world in new ways, but it also contributes to the academic, emotional, and social well-being of our students.
