Athletics (Grades 4-8)
Athletic opportunities become an important part of the lives of many students and are enthusiastically embraced as a means to support our students in their journey to becoming well-rounded young men and women. Beginning in grade 4, student athletic programs promote sportsmanship and teamwork while teaching the fundamental skills and understanding of each sport. All students wishing to participate in athletics are given opportunity to play.
Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in Lourdes High School athletic programs. The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) allows for students in grades 7 and 8 to take part in high school sponsored athletic programs and activities.
The following athletic activities are offered for students in grades 4-8
(The athletic opportunities for junior high students are contingent upon the number of pupils participating within our school system as well as the number of teams represented in the conference.)
