The Lourdes High School choral program is a balanced, comprehensive, and sequential program of music instruction taught by professionally trained and licensed music educators. All students are welcome and encouraged to enroll regardless of experience. Students receive instruction in music reading, vocal development, and group performance skills. Students also have the opportunity to gain individual instruction in voice lessons with the teacher. The Choirs perform regularly throughout the year in quarterly concerts, and also when additional opportunities become present.
All are invited to attend the Lourdes High School Fall Choir Concert on October 28 at 7:00 pm in the Lourdes High School Auditorium. Music selections will adventure through fantasy and fiction while allowing the listener to imagine like children. Due to the proximity of the concert to Halloween, children are invited to wear their halloween costumes, but we ask that they leave masks at home. The first 100 children in costume will receive a bag of candy after the concert, courtesy of the LHS Music Boosters.
Admission is Free, with a free-will donation to support the operations of the LHS Music Department.
