AES Engineering Scholarship $500 10/6/18 Click here Award is open to all students regardless of major. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character as determined by the submitted essay.
Altra Foundation Scholarship $1,000 Emailed or postmarked by 10/31/2024 Click here Applicants must be Altra Federal Credit Union members that are graduating high school senior in spring 2024 with a cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher and will be attending a 2-year or 4-year college in Fall 2024. 
The American Legion Oratorical Contest $2, 000 - $25,000 12/4/2022 Click here The contest begins at the Post level and winners can progress to state and national rounds.  This program is open to high school students, grades 9-12 and under age 20, who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Please speak with your counselor by Friday, December 2nd if you plan to apply for this contest.

Aviation Pathways Scholarship $1, 000 awards 3/29/2024 by 11 pm. Click here This scholarship fund was created to provide support for students with a desire to enter an aviation career. Students can be high school seniors, college freshman or sophomores, from Southeast Minnesota counties. Minimum GPA is 2.5. Students must be entering or engaged in an aviation-related degree program at an accredited college, university, technical college, or nationally recognized aviation training program.

1) Exchange Scholarship Applications must be turned in for counselor recommendation by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, 4/1/2024. Applications for the internal deadline should be emailed to Juliet Govern.

2) Challenge of Excellence (A.C.E) Scholarship will be awarded to one student from Rochester who has overcome a physical, emotional, or social obstacles in order to graduate. The Rochester winner will advance to a district scholarship competition. Applications must be turned in for counselor recommendation by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, 4/1/2024. Applications for the internal deadline should be emailed to Juliet Govern.

Exchange Club Scholarship $1,000 4/14/2023 Click here Open to seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher who have a financial need. They are looking for a student who has consistently demonstrated exemplary citizenship and willingness to serve his/her school and community. We must have a minimum of 3 applicants from Lourdes for the award to go to a Lourdes student. Applications must be turned in to the Counseling Office by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, 4/14/2023. Applications may be turned in electronically to Mrs. Tschumperlin.

This memorial scholarship fund was created to provide financial aid to first generation college students who demonstrate financial need and strong academic performance. Students must be high school seniors, poised to be first generation college students, and live in the city of Rochester. There is a preference for those looking to give back through a career in education.

-a graduating senior from a Rochester high school who plans to major in an education field to obtain a teaching degree. The funds will be awarded once the awardee declares an education major to teach either preschool, elementary or secondary. The degree must be from an accredited program at either a two year or four year higher education institution. A certification in pre-school education would also qualify.

- a teacher in a Rochester school (or other qualified field such as social work) obtaining a master’s degree in guidance counseling to work in K-12 education.

Rochester Masonic Lodge $1000 3/30/2023 Click here Each applicant is required to submit a short statement, 500 words or less, on their future plans and goals. At the option of applicant, a statement may be made explaining the need for the scholarship, as seen by the applicant. But keep in mind that these scholarships are not solely based on need. The completed application must be received by the Rochester Masonic Lodge by Friday, April 14th.  Please have your completed application to the counseling office by March 30th but notify Mrs. Groven in advance of that date so she can prepare counselor recommendations.
Rochester Youth Baseball Association $500 5/1/2024 Click here This scholarship is intended to support and continue to grow graduating high school seniors that have been active in their youth through RYBA and the Rochester baseball community.

WACE National Co-op Scholarship Program varies 2/15/2020 (earlier date for some schools) Click here Open to high school seniors who have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA and are applying to one or more of the WACE Partner Institutions. Each institution may have additional criteria.
Wisconsin Alumni Association, Rochester Chapter Scholarship $1000 or $1500 4/13/2018 Click here Open to graduating seniors who have been accepted to and have committed to enroll at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or better and have demonstrated extracurricular involvement and financial need. Internal deadline is 4/13/2018.
Vallely Will Fund Varies Internal deadline 1/10/24, submission deadline 2/8/2024 Applicants must submit a one-page, signed personal statement/essay explaining why the scholarship is important to them.  Please include your college and career plans.

Minimum GPA is 2.0. Only one candidate from Lourdes may apply for this scholarship. Please submit your essay to the Counseling Department by 1/10/2024 if you are interested so a student can be selected to complete the application by the 2/8/2024 deadline. A personal essay and a teacher letter of recommendation is required as part of the application.

Waggle Human-Pet Bond Scholarship $1,000 11/1/2024 Click here This scholarship is to help assist financially in college expenses so they have more funds available to care for their pets who support them.
