Worship, in its most simplistic definition means to love God and be loved by Him. Since our relationship with God is most powerfully expressed in our worship, Holy Spirit Catholic School students, staff, and friends celebrate Mass together on Wednesday mornings at 9:05 a.m.
Rochester Catholic Schools believes active participation in leading worship is essential to honoring, pleasing, and understanding God. At Holy Spirit Catholic School, our classrooms rotate participation for our weekly Masses so that all students will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the greatest purpose of the Church: worship. Within every classroom, individual students have the opportunity to serve as lectors, greeters, choir members, and altar servers. Not only does this promote student involvement in liturgical planning, but it also provides opportunities for formative experiences in fine arts, leadership, and public speaking.
