Faith
Holy Spirit Catholic School is joyfully united to the educational mission of the Catholic Church. Passing on the Catholic faith to our students and their families serves as the most important and life transforming work we do. We are attentive to the power of the Holy Spirit and learn how these gifts/fruits help each of us live our lives fully and with purpose. We have named our school/parish in honor of the Holy Spirit as a testament to our sure and abiding belief that it is through the Spirit that God’s power and our collective efforts combine to create a loving Christian community.
At Holy Spirit Catholic School, we strive to engage our students in the faith activities of worship, service, and prayer. We pray as our students begin this journey, it will lead them to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and help to establish a foundation of service as faithful Christians.
The Franciscan spirituality, passed down through the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi who came before us, inspires the teaching and learning experienced in our classrooms. Our strong Catholic identity is evidenced by a school environment forged by relationships – with God, family, students, and community– that allows children to learn and grow to their maximum potential. We understand and celebrate the significant roles that our priests, administrators, teachers, and staff play in the life of our students, believing that these special relationships can be paramount to a child’s understanding of the infinite love of God.
