School History

Holy Spirit Catholic School was built to support the educational mission of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. In September of 1993, Bishop Vlazny blessed the ground on which the Holy Spirit Church and school now stand. Instruction in Catholic teachings and values, along with student participation in the liturgy and sacraments were, are, and always will be integral parts of our educational ministry.

The first phase of construction began in September 1993 and the school opened for grades K-3 in the fall of 1994. The final phase was completed in 1999 which expanded our space to include Kindergarten through grade 8. Preschool classes for students age three and four year olds were added in 2008. We are excited that our school community continues to grow.
