Amber was nominated by the Band Department who say "For every involvement that Amber has in the music department, she carries out with an accepting and cheerful demeanor, group-centered mindset, and efficient work ethic.".  Amber has served as senior drum major of the Lourdes High School 2018 Marching Band show, serves as saxophone section leader in the LHS Concert Band and the saxophone section leader in the Hi-Lighters Jazz Band (where she leads weekly sectionals for each group), serves on the band council student leadership board, and performed a solo during the 2018 Lourdes Advent Program.

Amber has notably been involved in Concert Band/Pep Band/Marching Band, Highlighters Jazz Band, Culture Exchange Club, Science Club, Olmsted County 4-H, Confirmation student small group leader, Varsity Basketball manager, We Help Others Club.

Amber has received many honors and awards which include: National Honors Society, Drum Major for Marching Band, Best Drum Major Class AA - Prairie Colors, MSHSL Marching Band AA State Champions, Saxophone Section Leader (Concert Band), State Qualifier in 4-H General Exhibits, Solo and Ensemble Contest- superior score rating, MSHSL Honor Band Member, Olmsted County 4-H Ambassador, LHS Letter Award- Basketball, LHS Letter Award- Band, Solo and Ensemble Contest- excellent score rating and Collette Bany Memorial Award- 4-H Outstanding Leader 2015. 

After graduating from Lourdes, Amber plans to attend the College of St.Scholastica in Duluth, MN and earn a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.  She will continue into the college band and attend sports events.  She will remain active in volunteering in the Jeremiah Program, Feed My Starving Children, andchurch functions
