About
Lourdes High School serves students in grades 9-12. Located in the northwest quadrant of Rochester, Minnesota, the school is part of Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS), a unified Catholic school system that has been serving our community since 1877.
Activities/Athletics
Lourdes High School offers more than an academic experience in the classroom! At LHS, we provide our students with a vast array of optional activities so that while students' new passions may be explored and discovered, existing passions may be simultaneously refined and improved. By participating in extracurricular activities such as ministry, athletics, or the arts, students develop skills such as leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and self-discipline.
Faith
There are many ways for students to grow in relationship with one another and Jesus Christ at Lourdes High School: service and outreach opportunities, class retreats, mission trips, liturgical celebrations, prayer services, spiritual gatherings, and more.

Coaches

Becky Macken
Head Coach

Education: Medical Technology MT (HEW), 35-year employee at Mayo Clinic

Coaching Experience: Head Coach, 2012-Present; coach at Lourdes since 2008; 2019 -Team 25, finished the season 25-3 and won the AA Minnesota State Championship.
Macken was named the MSHSL 1AA Coach of the Year; officer for Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball Association and President of the Executive Board for Rochester Sports; played amateur softball as a young adult and her women's and co-ed teams won 20 state championships and 3 National Championships; 2014-inducted into the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame under the Player/Manager/Meritorious.

Why I Coach: Coaches can make a positive impact and change the lives of those they coach. I believe the contrary.

Family: Husband Mike (LHS '80) assistant softball coach, daughter Sam (LHS '13) U of MN Alumni '17 and four year starter for Gopher Softball, son Joe (LHS '17) senior at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul.
