Hispanic Heritage Month 2023
This Year’s Theme - Latinos: Driving Prosperity, Power, and Progress in America
Join the RCS community as we recognize and celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. We are blessed by the significant histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestral roots trace back to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Te invitamos a unirte a la comunidad de RCS para reconocer y celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana o "Hispanic Heritage Month" del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre. Nos sentimos bendecidos por las historias, culturas y aportación de los ciudadanos estadounidenses cuyas raíces ancestrales se remontan a España, México, el Caribe, Centroamérica y América del Sur.
Students will be involved in classroom activities during this month and we invite all families to stop at our elementary schools to participate in a bilingual story walk! Bring the whole family for this outdoor activity, where you'll walk along a path with your child while reading Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister -- printed in both English and Spanish. Feel free to plan a picnic or bring your own games to play after your walk!

Latino Fest 2023: Saturday, Sept 16 at Chateau Rochester. RCS will have a table set up at the event from 12-5 p.m. Learn more here!
