WEEKLY BROADCAST FEATURED NEWS Kindergarteners and their sixth grade buddies took a photo opportunity with the beautiful braided palms in the church. We celebrate the Easter Triduum this week. SCHOOL NEWS We received our annual parent survey results this week. Thank you to everyone who responded to it. We use this data to plan improvement initiatives. I shared with several people - there is a lot of ‘good news’ about St. Francis of Assisi School - but also room for improvement! Please know that your opinions are valued and welcomed. Our spring testing window for NWEA tests lasts four weeks. Your child’s class is scheduled for four tests during that time frame. Classroom teachers will communicate the testing schedule to you. Please try to make sure your child is present for their testing times. We use these test results in a variety of ways - including setting school goals and individual goals. With some changes to curriculum this year, we are especially interested to see if those changes are being reflected in our testing results. Every year we take a picture of our 8th grade graduates in the church. This year’s picture will be taken on Wednesday, April 24th, at 9:30 a.m. Eighth graders are asked to ‘dress up’ for this picture. Order forms have been sent home if you would like to purchase a copy of the picture. Order forms or online payments are due on April 24th. Thank you to the following individuals who will serve as the Home and School Association Officers for the 2019-2020 school year: Please click here to read the second year, Edition #4 of the St. Francis of Assisi School School Times.
