Join us on Fridays during Lent at 1:30 pm to pray the Stations of the Cross.

Tuesday, April 9th we will pray Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament immediately following the 9:15 am school Mass. We will have Adoration, throughout the school day. followed by Benediction at 2:30 pm. We would like to thank our priests for making this available to the school. Students and staff appreciate the opportunity to sit in the silence and be present with Jesus.

The PB came to school on Wednesday this week to announce the winners and award prizes. Special thanks to sixth grade teachers, Mrs. Steinmetz and Mr. Markert for their encouragement and support.
 

Our spring NWEA testing window is April 23rd through May 10th. Please watch for your child’s testing times coming home soon from their homeroom teacher. We ask that you try to avoid missing school during those testing time slots.
 

Mary Bleckwehl spent Thursday, March 21st with our K-7th graders. She inspired our students with her story and copies of her books were purchased for our library. Mrs. Bleckwehl commented that our students were some of the most respectful she had ever met. She was impressed by their questions, interest and attentive listening skills!

On Friday, April 12th from 7 - 9:30 pm all RCS 5th-8th grade students are invited to participate in the Second Annual RCS Dodgeball Tournament held at Lourdes High School. Teams are being formed at school. This is a great evening of FUN! Please join us for this event.

RCS Summer Book Club is back! Do you like to read? Do you like to connect with your friends over good books? Do you wish you read more often or want to be "in the know" about good books?

Check out RCS Summer Book Club for grades 3-6 and see what being a "Wild Reader" is all about! Comprehension strategies and group discussion will be part of each session, although the overall focus is simply on a love of good books!
