Transitioning to a STREAM School- 10 Characteristics of a STREAM School

#8 STREAM schools demonstrate that success is defined in many ways and can occur in many different types of schools and learning environments.

>At Holy Spirit, we believe that all students have been gifted by God with diverse skills and talents to use for the common good.  We will continue to lift up students who succeed and those who struggle- acknowledge their journey and the learning that has occurred.  We will make a renewed effort to engage in learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom.

#9 STREAM schools utilize strategic planning as a blueprint to guide the school's development and implementation of the curriculum.

#10 STREAM schools are "think forward" institutions and place high priority on educator training, learning, leadership, and 21st Century skill applications.

>We will be working to modify our school strategic plan for MNSAA accreditation into a living, breathing guide for our transition into being a STREAM school.  We will keep what is good and successful and modify what needs to be changed to prepare our students for a lifetime of success.

Family Data Sheets

Please return your Family Data Sheets as soon as possible if you have not already done so.  The information you provide on these data sheets determines our budget, which determines how many teachers, support staff, food service assistants, custodians, and office staff we are able to employ next year.  Losing our current 5-6-7-8th graders will already have a major impact on our budget and staffing, so it is more important than ever that we have an accurate number of returning students for next year.  Budgeting for the 2019-2020 school year will begin in a few weeks so a prompt return of the Family Data Sheet is appreciated!  Thank you.
