Principal's Message Mr. Fuhrmeister's 5th Grade With our last week of school coming up next week, the transition to summer is already palpable in the building. All of our teachers will be returning next year, but we do have some staff who won't be with us in the fall. We wish Mrs. Griffin and Mr. Leibovich well in their retirements, and congratulate Mr. Keith Fuhrmeister and Ms. Hannah Watson well as they continue their post-secondary education next year. They will be missed but are always welcome to come back and visit our St. Pius X School family. This also means that we have a few opportunities for new staff next year, including morning, afternoon, and full day positions. Please visit https://www.rcsmn.org/about/employment to see our openings at RCS. We do not have school on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day. We thank all of those men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation. I pray for a safe and restful weekend for our students and their families. With the forecast next week, we are moving our Cooke Park picnic day to Wednesday, June 1st. This will be a non-uniform day. Preschool has their final day of school on Thursday, June 2nd (with after school care until 6 pm) and grades K-5 have their last day of school on Friday, June 3rd with car line at 11 am. There is no after school childcare that day. May God be with you Always,
Dave Jenson
