Please drop this form and payment in any school office before May 27th. Thank you. On Wednesday morning, May 18th K - grade 5 will be going to Pax Christi Church to pray the rosary for May Crowning. The Preschool Spring Music Concert will be Wednesday, May 25th at 10:30am in the Holy Spirit School Gym. Please look for more information from your classroom teacher. Please dress your student in patriotic red, white, and/or blue. K - Grade 5 Spring Music Concert will be on Thursday, May 26th at 1:00pm and 2:15pm in the Holy Spirit School Gym. Last name starting with A-L will attend the 1:00pm concert and last name starting with M-Z will attend the 2:15pm concert. Dress your student patriotic in red, white and/or blue. All students will perform at both concerts and families will need to follow their normal, end of the school day pick up routine. Relatives, visitors, and friends will not be invited back to classrooms after this event. Thank you. Friday, May 27th in the afternoon grades K-5 will participate in an outdoor, afternoon event with our PE teacher Mr. Graham. This is a non-uniform day wearing athletic/active clothing and tennis shoes. Mark your calendar. The last day of preschool is Wednesday, June 1st. On June 2nd at 2:00pm 5th graders will have a prayer service in the church. Parents and loved ones are welcome to join. We look forward to celebrating our 5th graders as they graduate to middle school. Mark your calendar- Friday, June 3rd. We will celebrate the last day of school with Mass at 10:00am and students are done for the day. Families are welcome to attend Mass. Students can leave directly after mass with their loved ones or you can pick your student up from their classroom at 11:00am. Students must be picked up by 11:30am on this last day of school. The RCS 5-8 grade Band concert will be performed Tuesday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at Lourdes High School. The theme for this year's concert is "Music from Outer Space." Fifth and sixth-grade students need to be at Lourdes by 5:30 p.m. the night of the concert to rehearse together as a large group. Seventh and eighth-grade students need to report to the Lourdes band room by 6:30 p.m. Dress for the concert is dress-up (concert performance attire). There will be a cross country informational meeting on May 17 at 6 p.m. in the LHS Forum for RCS students who will be in grades 7-12 next school year. Athletes and parents new to cross country are encouraged to attend. Returning athletes and parents may join the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Byron Dance Team will be holding a parent/dancer informational meeting on Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Byron High School Multi-Purpose Room. We hope you can join us to see what we're all about and learn what to expect in a typical dance season. Any interested RCS student currently in grades 6-11 is eligible to join, and no previous dance experience is required. If you have any questions or won't be able to attend the meeting, please contact head coach Amy Beeman at byronbearsdt@gmail.com. Join the Lourdes Color Guard! The color guard is an essential part of the marching band show and is responsible for the theatrics and storytelling. The marching band practices regularly and performs at football games and weekend competitions. You do not need prior experience in dance or music to do color guard. All RCS students currently in grades 7-11 are welcome!
