We don't need spring to enjoy the outdoors! Message from the Principal As the cold and rain of April comes to a close, we are very excited for a warm (hopefully) and busy May! I was absolutely overwhelmed with joy as I watched our kindergartners leave the building yesterday for their library field trip. Thank you to all our parents volunteers who helped make that trip possible. As I press rewind in my mind and scroll through events throughout this year, I have much excitement and anticipation for what next school year brings. We are striving to be more mindful of bringing back traditions that were paused because of COVID, adding some new traditions, and emphasizing experiences together as a community for next school year. I would like to share some news about next year. We will begin renovating our current computer lab and library next week. These two spaces will become our new St. Francis of Assisi Preschool Center for the 2022-2023 school year. We are very excited Ms. Margi Newkirk and Ms. Robin Erickson will lead our preschool program next year! They will make a great team to help grow our young children in faith and love of learning. We are truly blessed! Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings, Andy Poterucha Principal, St. Francis of Assisi School |
