Catholic Schools Week starts this Sunday. This is the week that we take time to celebrate all of the wonderful things we do in the schools. We will have a table set up at the Co-Cathedral during Mass this weekend, and students are encouraged to wear their uniform or a RCS spirit top and be present in the gathering space to showcase our school…Sidenote, any student that comes to Mass wearing RCS apparel to promote our school will be offered a "non-uniform day" in the very near future. Tuesday, February 1st is our annual Day of Giving. Rochester Catholic Schools has a goal of raising $100,000 to benefit the students, staff, and community of RCS. Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Middle School has a goal of raising $20,000 which will be accomplished through donations and a very generous matching donation from an anonymous parishioner. Together we will meet and exceed our goal. Donations can be made now by going to the website https://www.rcsmn.org/support-rcs/day-of-giving. Donations can also be made at the school on Tuesday. I will be in the school parking lot in the morning if anyone wants to drop off a donation. Many fun activities have been planned for the students, as well.
