Weekly School Broadcast Students showed their virtues of kindness and respect during bus safety. The bus drivers passed along how much they enjoyed working with the St. Francis children!

School News This past Wednesday, there was inclement weather in the morning during drop-off. I understand we cannot control the weather, however, we can control how we react during these times. It was very unsettling to see students sprinting to the building, jumping in front of moving vehicles, and not being mindful of their surroundings. Please take the time, slow them down, bring an umbrella, and help us walk them in safely. We will speak with them at school about being aware of the cars in the parking lot. Thank you for your support on this. We would not want to see anyone get hurt. Students will be invited to wear their HERO shirts on Tuesday, October 26th for our second HERO assembly. We will send home new shirts before the 26th for kindergarten and new students as well as families that placed an order. There will be no school on October 21 or 22. There will also not be a weekly broadcast that week. There will be a Co-op Jr. High dance on Saturday, October 30th at Lourdes high school for our 7th and 8th grade students from St. Francis and St. Johns. More details will be released after MEA break. The cost is $5 to enter. I am looking for 2-3 parents volunteers to help chaperone this event from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If you are interested in helping, please contact Mr. Poterucha via email apoterucha@rcsmn.org Thank you! The Baby Bottle Campaign continues this month. Please pick up a baby bottle in the school lobby if you would like to donate coins, bills, or checks to support the work of Catholic Charities to provide resources that help moms, babies and adoption. All donations are due by October 29th. Thank you for your support.
