Activities Broadcast Weekly highlights and updates of RCS extracurricular activities. Jr. High Fall Sports
93 Jr. High students along with their coaches are having a great start to the Fall season! Here are a few words from some of the coaches.
The Jr. High volleyball players have shown so much improvement already this season. The girls come to practice every day with a lot of energy, a good work ethic, and eagerness to improve their skills. It has shown in our games that their hard work is paying off, and I am excited to watch them keep building up the Lourdes Volleyball program. (Coach Bowlin)
This is the first year we've been able to add a Jr. High boys soccer team in the last three years, and it's been an exciting year so far. The boys have been playing great, having fun, and are very successful so far this season. We are looking forward to having these future Eagles at Lourdes in a year or two. (Coach Kane)
The Jr. High Cross Country team has been very successful so far this season. Not only have they competed well individually, but our boy's team has been very successful so far this season. Typically, JH athletes do not have the opportunity to compete at the Varsity level. This season some of our JH athletes have earned the chance to compete on Varsity. (Coach Gilman)
The Jr. High girls soccer team has been playing great! The team has recorded only one loss on the season, and they continue to improve with each practice and game. Coach Melhorn ('12) says that her team is playing well together and having a great time! Special thanks to all of the Jr. High parents for their support! (Coach Groven)
The Jr. High football team has had a great start to the season and are currently 3-0. We have a great group of 7th and 8th graders that are eager to learn and come ready to play everyday! (Coach Bochmann) HOF Raffle Tickets

Freddie is always coming through in the clutch on the field. He is also showing a ton of heart and passion and motivates all of the other players on the field. Coach Kane Cheer - Lizzie Pike
Lizzie, senior Captain, has been part of the LHS Cheer team for four years. She is a fantastic Captain and leader. She has such positive energy and keeps everyone laughing. I appreciate how she supports her teammates and helps keep things fun. Coach Harris Volleyball - Ashley Flores
Ashley is one of the hardest working and most selfless players on our team. Ashley will show up early to practice to get extra touches on the ball and stay late to set balls to her teammates. She leads by example and does a tremendous job helping the younger setters in our program! Coach Larson Girls Soccer - Bryn Billmeier
Bryn is a very driven soccer player that isn't afraid of any situation on the field. She has played a huge role on our team as an outside midfielder and she is one of the first to volunteer if I need her in a different spot. Don't be shocked if you see her as a defender sometime soon! Bryn scored her first goal of the season this past week and continues to improve as our entire midfield plays together. We're very proud of Bryn and her determination, rarely is she outworked! Coach Groven Football - Hunter Einertson
Hunter Einertson has been doing a tremendous job all off season for us and that has continued into the season. Hunter gets us fired up when needed and has done a great job with our younger players. We look forward to watching Hunter make a lot of plays as our season progresses. Coach Kesler Cross Country - Charlie Deick
Charlie was chosen by the cc captains for his enthusiasm, work ethic, and positive attitude. Charlie has not let his youth (7th grade) stop him from supporting everyone on the team. Coach Gilman LHS Sports Hall of Fame
