Weekly School Broadcast To celebrate Teacher Appreciation week, the Student Council spent the week creating messages and treats for all of the teachers at Lourdes. Students delivered a special treat and kind message each day to honor all of the hard work and dedication our teachers put into this school year. Jack Frain, public relations liaison of the student body remarked on what he appreciates most about his teachers: "I appreciate all of the enthusiasm that all of the teachers at LHS have while teaching." Teachers, thank you for your dedication to all of the students at LHS. We appreciate all of the ways, big and small, that you enrich our community and the lives of our students. Blessings, Mary Spring Lourdes High School Principal

Academics Mrs. Groven met with seniors to discuss scholarship applications. The Lourdes website is a great starting point to identify scholarship opportunities. We have links to several scholarship search sites as well as a list of local scholarships. We encourage students to check the Lourdes page frequently and to watch for announcements on Mrs. Groven’s Google Classroom page. Lourdes Foundation scholarship applications were recently posted to the Lourdes website. If students have questions about scholarship opportunities, they should visit the counseling office. Please contact Ms. Spring if you are in need of transportation in the fall. We are looking to ascertain how many families need assistance with transportation for the fall.

Fine Arts Madi stepped up and learned a difficult piece of music at this year's Solo and Ensemble Festival, coming in for extra help, and grew tremendously as a performer. She has also been a steadfast member of Center Street Singers this year, and is working hard every day in rehearsals to better the groups she is part of. Mr. Fourniea Calendar
