Weekly School Broadcast The 8th grade students, along with Mrs. Gaines sewing skills, made a quilt for a classmate that is battling cancer.--
Oh what a difference a year makes. One year ago today, we sent the students home on the bus not knowing that it would be the last day they would be on campus for the remainder of the school year. A lot has changed since then. Many sacrifices have been made by families, staff members, and our entire school community...all in the best interest of the children. Because of all of these efforts, our children are developing and excelling spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. THANK YOU.
We are excited that many things are returning to "normal". There will be fun activities on the calendar for the children and families in the very near future. We are preparing for an actual 8th grade graduation ceremony in June where we can safely gather to celebrate the accomplishments of students. Everyone has sacrificed so much to get us to where we are as a school and should be celebrated. Things are busier than ever, and it's worth it. The children are worth it.
