Music & Movement March is known across the United States as "Music in Our Schools Month," and our programs at The Nest make no exception to celebrate music everyday. Whether students are hands-on at playing instruments, or singing along to songs about classroom routines, music is embedded and cherished in our preschool classrooms.
Music also has positive benefits on the development of young children. Please click on the button below to read more from the Bright Horizons organization.
In the Classroom Music toys introduced in the classroom can inspire creativity, curiosity, and discovery among preschool students. Featured in this photo is an impromptu band of preschoolers from Mrs. Stiennon's afternoon classroom at Holy Spirit, eager to share their gifts of song.

Registration Is Still Open for RCS Preschool Summer Care Prayer St. Joseph Prayer By Kathy Sherman, CJS
Dear St. Joseph,
Teach us to listen and not be afraid to trust as you did in God's presence.
Teach us how to love courageously with a heart that is free and just.
Teach us to protect one another and all that belongs to God.
Teach us to dream of a world where all are neighbors; a vision Illumined by God's light.
Teach us to keep the Word of God close to our hearts, and to proclaim it in word and action.
Teach us to be gentle with our power and strong in our tenderness.
Teach us to be for each other a living lesson of goodness and truth and a blessing of hope for all generations to come.
Teach us to live Jesus' dream of unity, "that all may be one."
Amen.
