The front doors and classrooms would open at 10:20 am with announcements and prayer starting at 10:50 am. Dismissal would remain at 3:35 pm. Please watch for notifications via Infinite Campus text and/or email. It is with mixed emotion that I share the resignation of Mrs. Monica Steinmetz, Grade 6 teacher. Mrs. Steinmetz is leaving St. Francis to become the Director of Admissions for Rochester Catholic Schools. We are grateful for her 30+ years of service and wish her much success in her new position. Her position has been posted and interviews will begin immediately. Mr. Wesley Costa also resigned his position as Elementary Counselor effective December 15th. He is getting married in Florida this weekend and had a job offer there. Although he had hoped to finish out the year at St. Francis of Assisi, this opportunity was too good for him to pass up. We wish him the best and thank him for being part of our team. The position is posted and we hope to replace him soon!
System News Rochester Catholic Schools is pleased to announce that Mrs. Monica Steinmetz has accepted the position of Director of Admissions. Mrs. Steinmetz brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience as she has been a member of the RCS community in many capacities, most notably a 6th grade teacher at St. Francis of Assisi School, since 1990. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Steinmetz to this important position. We invite you - our devoted community - to honor the efforts of the dedicated teachers and staff of Rochester Catholic Schools this season with a gift to the new RCS Fund for Academic Excellence by December 31, 2020. Your gifts allow us to retain and recruit the best and brightest educators who are essential to the success of our students. Gifts made by the end of the year may be eligible for the CARES Act giving incentives. If you have not had the chance, give today at rcsmn.org/makeagift. We are pleased to share that The Nest at Rochester Catholic Schools has been named the WINNER among preschools in the 2020 Post Bulletin Best of the Best awards! At RCS, we are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and staff and want to thank the Rochester community for voting The Nest as the top preschool in town.
