Weekly School Broadcast Principal's Message
As our students prepared for their various roles in our Christmas Program this week, I tried to be present as often as possible to appreciate their hard work. It was when I took pictures of Mrs. Anderson's second grade class as they were dressed in their costumes for the Nativity scene, that a simple truth about the birth of Jesus struck me: Jesus wasn't born and placed on a throne, or a pedestal, or even a soft bed as we might think the King of kings would deserve. He was humbly born, in a stable surrounded by animals and angels, with a few fortunate human beings present to witness the most important birth in human history. Might we all someday have the grace to look upon each human being with love and dignity, knowing that we are all made in the image and likeness of God, regardless of their position or circumstance in our society.
