A Message From the Principal
Advent Blessings,
School News Our Student Council members visited our classrooms this week to talk about this Association and how we can support the work they do. Students may bring cash donations from December 9th-15th. On the 15th, all donations will be collected, counted and sent to the Diocese of Winona-Rochester to be added with other contributions and forwarded to the Missionary Childhood Association. Thank you for your generosity. Friday, December 18th, our Student Council invites everyone to participate in a school-wide “Christmas Theme Day”. Break out your Grinch attire, your ugly Christmas Sweater, your favorite Christmas sweatshirt or items that are Christmas colors (red or green). Let’s celebrate our last day before Christmas break in a Christmas themed non-uniform day. This year has been like no other in our music classroom! Due to the strict guidelines for vocal music, our students have been mastering the Fine Arts standards in ways other than vocal music. On Wednesday, December 16th, we will be creating a presentation to share with all of you. We invite students to come dressed in their Christmas best that day as we film our Christmas surprise for you! Donations for the Staff Christmas gift will be accepted through Monday, December 14th. Donations received after that date will be added to the HSA budget for Staff Enrichment. Due to COVID restrictions, the Rochester Catholic Schools have decided to send all of our school grade level winners to one virtual RCS Spelling Bee. The following students will represent St. Francis of Assisi School as winners in their grade level Spelling Bees:
