Weekly School Broadcast Principal's Message
"Building" is a theme that is ever present at St. Pius X School. Every day, each member of our school community is taking part in an invitation to build the Kingdom of God through their interactions with one another. We learn about the Saint of the Day every morning, and our front entry has the mantra, "We are Saints in the Making" because building character upon a faith-filled foundation is at the root of who we are as a Catholic school.
May God be with you always,
School News This year we will be recording our Christmas program and will be digitally compiling it to send out to parents to share with family and friends. Recording will occur on Wednesday, December 9th and will be distributed once the video editing is completed. Please click here for the attached letter from Mrs. Sherman regarding the student dress code for Wednesday, December 9th. We will have our weekly school Mass on Tuesday, December 8th to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We will be eliminating the outdoor temperature checks starting Monday, December 7th. Temperature checks will still be done for students dropped off at before school care or coming into the office after the 8:50 AM morning bell. Our next Spirit Day will be a Purple & Gold School Spirit day on Friday, December 11th. To all the families of the St. Pius X community: We hope all of you and your families are staying well during this challenging time. Last week in the classroom folders, there was an announcement for the annual Holiday fund which goes to support a monetary gift for our school staff. Instructions are in the letter and an envelope for your hopeful gift was enclosed for your convenience. We forward our appreciation for your generosity in advance so that we can recognize our special school staff during this time of year. As we approach the start of winter, the possibility of a two hour morning delay to school returns. This means Before School Care would open at 8:30 AM, and the school day would begin at 11 AM. The school day will still end at 3:35 PM, and After School Care will still be offered until 6 PM. Look for notifications from RCS via your preferred Infinite Campus notification.
