SCHOOL NEWS We received information from Rochester Public Schools Transportation regarding busing. Our students have been divided into two cohorts (A and B). Cohort A will have morning transportation on Wednesday, September 9, Tuesday, September 8, Monday, September 14, Tuesday, September 15 and every Monday and Tuesday after that. Cohort B will have morning transportation on Thursday, September 3, Thursday, September 10, Friday, September 11, and every Thursday and Friday after that. Please note: There will be NO after school bussing. This plan will be re-evaluated every six weeks and adjustments made as needed. Plan to bring school supplies with you on the first day of school. All classrooms will take time to ‘move in’ to desks, cubbies and closets! The school vestibule is open form 7:00am-4:00pm daily. There is a box provided for you to drop off paperwork. On Wednesday, August 26th, we will offer a drive up drop off from 8:00am-12:00 noon. Then the vestibule will be open until 6:00pm. We ask that ALL paperwork be returned on or before Wednesday, August 26th. There have been questions regarding Meet the Teacher. It will be held virtually. Teachers will be contacting families to introduce themselves. Some are using Flipgrid and will ask for the student to create a short video back. Some may use Zoom meetings or Google Hangouts. Some may be sending slides…..each teacher/grade level was allowed to choose their medium!
