Please click here for the distance learning request form. Forms are due on Wednesday, August 26th. Schedule Pick Up will be held for students in grades 10 – 12 on Tuesday, August 25. Students will take care of necessary school business, including Chromebook and schedule pick up. Time is also set aside for school photos. School uniforms are not required, but appropriate clothing should be worn. Each student must wear a mask in the building and will be allowed to take the mask off for his/her picture. Students are to come to school at their designated time and enter via the Athletics entrance, door 6. WELCOME TO THE CLASS of 2024! We are so excited to have you as a part of the Lourdes family! This year, we will have our 9th grade orientation in two parts! Part I will be held at LHS on Wednesday, August 26. This quick event will be scheduled for school photos and Chromebook pick up. Other necessary information will be included in a freshman packet that will be available just for you! Students should enter through the Athletic Wing and proceed to the Multi-Purpose Room for pictures. Students must wear appropriate attire for pictures. Part II will be held online on with Mrs. Groven via Zoom on Thursday morning, August 27 at 11:00am. During that meeting, she will walk you through the contents of that packet and other important information. Time will be set aside for Qs and As and even a surprise or two! Summer reading is designed to entertain and engage every student with a meaningful and thought provoking book that will be discussed in Religion and English classrooms in the fall. All assignments are due the first week of school to each student's religion teacher. ATHLETIC NEWS Fall Sports registration will close Wednesday, August 26. Click here to begin registration. If you are have not used our registration in the past, you will need to create an account using your student's ID (found on Infinite Campus) and Date of Birth. A valid sports physical must be on file in the Activities Office prior to registration. Watch for more information and registration coming soon on Volleyball and Football Fall Training Seasons. The Eagle Booster Club supports the general growth and development of athletics for students within RCS. Membership is comprised of RCS parents, alumni, community members, and businesses working together with goals to heighten, enhance, and enrich the athletics programs. Members promote and provide a high quality experience for students, coaches, directors, and fans through sponsorship opportunities, fundraising, and volunteer efforts. GENERAL NEWS We are pleased to roll out a paperless payment option for parking this year! Please follow the link in which you will be directed to the sports registration system **If you have not yet created an account you will be prompted to create an account and add your student. To add your student you must have his/her DOB and student ID- which is his/her student number in Infinite Campus** Please note that this fee is prorated by quarter. If your student is not driving yet, you should wait to register and pay so that you are able to pay the prorated amount. If you opted to roll your credit from the 2019-2020 4th Quarter over to the 2020-2021 school year, there is an option for that in the payment selection so that you can pay the correct rate.
SYSTEM NEWS Be sure to remind your family, friends, and neighbors how great our devoted RCS community is! For more information, visit rcsmn.org/spiritshop At the recommendation of our healthcare partners, influenza vaccinations (flu shots) for students in Olmsted, Dodge, Goodhue, and Mower County schools this fall have been cancelled. Your child will not receive a flu shot at school this year. Please watch for details on flu shot availability in your community. It is recommended that families receive their flu shots by the end of November 2020. In light of the current health concerns, the VIRTUS® Protecting God's Children training has been made available online. Click here for information on how to register for the online training. It is the same process as signing up for a live training. The difference is once all the personal information is entered and the background check is completed (volunteers ONLY) the online training is available to launch.
