SCHOOL NEWS The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has challenged the Holy Spirit Catholic Community to raise $25,000 by the end of the school year. If we do, they will match our $25,000 with $25,000 of their own. What a great way to double your donation! To read more about how you can help- please read the parent letter and the grant flyer. Christmas Anonymous is asking for your help again this year in gathering items to help make many children happier and healthier. These items are to be brought to school by Monday, December 2nd. Donation bins will be located in the main hallway at school. Please click here to read more about this donation drive. Please click here to read the Friendzy parent letter for November to help us work together to help our students grow in love and respect for one another. Dear Holy Spirit School Families: In this wondrous season of our Savior’s birth, your Holy Spirit Catholic School Home and School Association is pleased to again offer a simple way to acknowledge our terrific teachers and staff with a much-appreciated gift. The H.S.A. facilitates a collection of voluntary cash gifts from families and distributes the collected funds evenly to our entire staff at the annual Christmas appreciation brunch that is hosted by the 4th grade families. This gift collection is a way of reaching out to our para professionals, office staff, lunch staff, foreign language teachers, reading teacher, computer teacher, music teachers, gym teacher, custodians, librarian, as well as our wonderful classroom teachers. A list of all contributing families is included with each gift handed out. Please know that the Christmas Gift Collection is offered as a service to Holy Spirit School families and participation is completely optional. Some families will prefer other ways of remembering teachers and staff, but both are certainly not necessary. If you chose to participate in this Christmas Gift Collection, please fill out the form attached and return it to the school office in an envelope marked “Christmas Collection” attention: HSA. The deadline to participate is Thursday, December 12th. We will not be able to accept any gifts after this date in order to allow time for processing. Click here for the form. Please click here for your December lunch menu. Please click here for your December Kitchen newsletter. Your 2019-2020 School Directory will be coming home today. Please look for it in your youngest child's folder. There will be a $3.00 charge for an additional directory or a replacement if this one is lost.
