Mindy Reeder Named Vice President of Advancement for Rochester Catholic Schools

We are delighted to announce Rochester native, Mindy Reeder, has be appointed to Vice President of Advancement for Rochester Catholic Schools! 

 

Mindy has passionately served in Catholic schools for the past 20 years through a variety of roles in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis Catholic schools. Most recently, she held the position of President and Principal for Bethlehem Academy in Faribault, Minnesota. Prior to her 15 years as a school administrator, she served in advancement and development positions with Divine Mercy and Holy Cross Catholic School. In each of these roles, Mindy helped to secure funding, developed relationships with benefactors and led successful school fundraisers.

 

Although Mindy was born in Rochester, she resides with her husband of 33 years, Jim Reeder, on the Reeder family farm outside of Montgomery, Minnesota where they raised their three children and have lived for the past 24 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota in 1991, her Master of Arts in Education from St. Catherine's University in 2005 and Educational Leadership & Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas in 2012. 

 

Mindy is looking forward to becoming a member of the RCS community. She brings her years of experience, knowledge and expertise to Rochester with great enthusiasm. "Five schools - one mission! I'm eager to follow the mission and serve Rochester Catholic Schools by connecting with students, staff, alumni, and RCS supporters. My purple pride is growing the more I learn about this historic school system. I look forward to being a part of this wonderful community and helping grow the support for RCS!"
