Alyssa Ustby, a distinguished collegiate basketball player and a '20 graduate of Lourdes High School, is hosting an engaging youth girls basketball camp from Aug. 16-18, drawing coverage from several local media outlets. Catch the stories here: KTTC, KAAL, and KIMT!
Alyssa says she was inspired to host the camp in light of her own transformative basketball journey right here in Rochester.
“I was inspired to host my own basketball camp to give back to the community that has supported me throughout my athletic career. My goal is to educate and inspire the next generation of girls to not only become great basketball players but to go after their dreams with confidence,” Ustby said.
She also hopes girls walk away with new skills, friendships, and the belief that they can accomplish anything.
Her exemplary prowess on the court was evident early on, leading her to become a pivotal player for Lourdes. Alyssa's talent has since taken her to the University of North Carolina (UNC), where she continues to shine, showcasing her versatility in scoring, rebounding, and playmaking.
Thank you for serving as an inspiration to young athletes, and for making us #RCSProud, Alyssa!
